I purchased this cable to hook-up my PS3 to my Vizio HDTV and it works awesomely! I knew nothing about HDMI cables until I did some research and took a chance with purchasing this less expensive wire, and I'm so happy that I did. Before purchasing this cable, I used the basic cables that came with my PS3 to hook-up with my TV and the graphics were horrible. I almost spent $50 or more on a different, so-called "high-end" HDMI cable until I saw this wire and took a chance. Now, the graphics of my PS3 and Blu-ray DVD's look just as good as all the display models you see in stores. I couldn't be happier with this cable; my games and DVD's look awesome, I saved God knows how much money, and I'd recommend this cable to anybody. (February 2008).

I bought two of these at the same time. Plugged one into the PS3 and the other into the HD cable box. A day later, I had no cable signal. After messing around with it for hours, I finally ran a test by connecting each cable to 3 different input sources, the PS3, an HD camcorder, and the cable box. One cable worked on all three, the other wouldn't work at all. Amazon return policy means this problem didn't cost me any money but I did waste quite a bit of time trying to figure out why I had no signal.

So either these things are incredibly fragile and literally unpacking and plugging them in can cause damage (note I see no damage to any part of the cable) or one was defective.

The one that works has been handled just the same and has no problems, great picture, etc.

After a couple of weeks with this cable and a new 120hz 1080p tv, I have found no faults with this cable. I payed something like $22 for this cable compared to the $130 for the name brand cable. It processes at 10.2 gps of which makes blu-ray movie experience awesome! I do recommend this cable over the name brand!

Works just as well as all the other overpriced brand name cables (you know who you are!) Have this hooked up to my PS3/ Blu-ray and the picture on my 62" TV in 1080i is awesome (sorry, don't have 1080p to comment on). Comparing pictures with an older $3 HDMI cable attached to an upconverting DVD player showed only subtle difference. Sound is definately improved as the v1.3 HDMI supports better sound standards. Don't be suckered into paying extra for an over-hyped brand name!

I ordered this not expecting much more than an inexpensive 1.3-compliant HDMI cable. What showed up and I installed is what appears to be the exact same cable as a $60 Monster premium cable I had already connecting another piece of equipment. I have since ordered two more. The cable, connectors - everything about this cable are EXACTLY the same as the higher end Monster cable except no Monster logo and no Monster price (pun intended).

As for performance, there is nothing wrong with this cable - works great. I have it connected from a 1.3a compliant Toshiba A35 HD DVD to a 1.3a compliant Onkyo SR705 Receiver then up to a 1080p LCD. Picture, sounds, everything is excellent.

Don't waste your money on more expensive cables.
