Combining Denon’s high performance AVR-591 A/V receiver with Boston Acoustics’ MCS 95 5.1 speaker system, the DHT-591BA home theater system features carefully matched components to provide thrilling surround sound for music and movies. The heart of the system is the AVR591. It’s equipped with HDMI connectivity (1.4a repeater function) and high resolution surround sound decoders including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The four HDMI 1.4a inputs are 1080p and 3D (pass through) compatible. The unit also converts analog video sources to HDMI (480i to 480p), allowing a single HDMI cable run to the TV. System calibration is accomplished with Audyssey MultEQ to optimize the Boston speaker system performance for any room. Audyssey Dynamic Volume and Dynamic EQ help deliver smooth tonal balance at any volume level, while eliminating annoying jumps in volume that typically accompany television commercials.
