  8. bablooprabhu says:

    What is the size (LxB) of this movie hall?

  9. ervinarts says:

    @B3astL33 Thank you so much. We have considered accoustic panels but for now opted for movie posters instead. When we upgrade our speakers we will add acoustic panels and acoustic ceiling cloth as well.

  10. B3astL33 says:

    Awesome Theater! …Have you also considered adding acoustic panels they help alot to that theater experience. If you think about it they sell some at sams club online called my theater acoustic panels. They are very nice, 4 colors to choose from in packs of 4 with a cool metal logo in the corner thats says My Theater. Man your theater room looks awesome though!

  11. ervinarts says:

    @khantko From eye level the seats are 11′ away from the screen.

  12. khantko says:

    how far is the closest seat from the screen?

  13. ervinarts says:

    @C1USTERDUCK The Logitech Harmony 1100 comes with an 4 plug extender. I have a sensor over each component. It works great. i can change channels

  14. C1USTERDUCK says:

    very nice setup. are you using the RF expander with your Harmony 1100?

  15. AR123457 says:

    Nice setup

  16. ervinarts says:

    @neveruse91 You can have a great theater room. Yup, it is 1080p. And it is so much fun. The total cost for finishing the basement and building the Theater Room was about $10,490.00. My wife and I did everything ourselves, including plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry. The only thing we didn’t do ourselves was the carpeting.

  17. neveruse91 says:

    wowowowowow, i wish i had somthing like that man, is it 1080p ? how much did u use to builde and buy all that ? this is crazy!!! :D

  18. ervinarts says:

    @Feyhart I am not sure if has a 24p setting. The movies look truely like we are in the movies. Images are sharp and clear. Good enough for us.

  19. ervinarts says:

    @aelooser Thank you. There are so many excellent speakers to choose from. I am out of money. When our situation changes we will probably upgrade everthing.

  20. aelooser says:

    awesome :D but try Teufel Speakers in home cinema there fantastic !!!

  21. Feyhart says:

    @ervinarts does your projector put out a true 24p setting? so it truely is like it is in the movies?

  22. Cartier736 says:

    Omg nevermind I paused the video to type the comment and i just saw that you did have a riser, sooo sorry. Although i hope you carpet the riser soon. Then it will look great.

  23. Cartier736 says:

    Great setup except for one huge problem. Why isn’t the back row on a riser platform. Can you seriously see in that row? It might just be the video but it looked like the front row would block 50% of the screen. Other than that it’s great!!

  24. maaudiosubs says:

    Nice set up

  25. ervinarts says:

    @zepeterinma I’m sure you still have a nice set-up in the den.

    cables do make a differences

  29. weightpro says:

    @Oneness100
    true that. Bose is horrible

  30. Richmanray says:

    He lost me after the “fake Moon landing” comment.

  31. Plur307 says:

    @quantum112

    I was reading a Hi-Fi audio review article and the author brought some of his friends over and played music using expensive cables vs coat hangers used as cables. Many couldn’t tell the difference. Yes cables make a difference but they aren’t nearly as important as the equipment running them.

  32. Oneness100 says:

    @HeyItsCoop I prefer Meridian.

  33. quantum112 says:

    So technically the $2 digital optical audio cable which I bought on eBay from China is not really going to be any worse than the 20$ Bandridge one I would have bought at a local store, right?

  34. HeyItsCoop says:

    @Oneness100 Klipsch>Bose

  35. Oneness100 says:

    11th mistake Home Theater Owners Make is buying BOSE. One would be Better Off with Something Else. :-) LOL….

  36. twochaudio says:

    ,,,It’s hard to be positive when” you” go around saying thing’s that someone tells you. why buy nice interconnects, speaker wire or power cables when you have home theater. Who cares what a F16 sounds like its kind of close to the sound of the jet anyway. You don’t have to be right on your top 10 is BS look where line conditioners are on your list mg

  37. dtsmucker says:

    @twochaudio WTF are you on about? The first thing to do is gain command of a keyboard. Understand English and pertray in a mature and positive manner. Not throw a load of symbols together hoping that some tool will vote you up.. This cunt is oblivious… twochaudio, go to school..Idiot..

  38. twochaudio says:

    the first mistake is buying it,,,what do you want A 5,000 theater or a 5,000 two ch. audio stereo ???? # number one cable s he,s wrong and right
    with 2 channel audio he,s dead wrong,,with theater who cares

  39. Dakkiller1 says:

    Blu Ray is the new king of HD and HD-DVD is dead.

  40. IamAEpsilon says:

    YES, number 1, YES

  41. HeyItsCoop says:

  44. jlvsoundengineering says:

    the number one mistake is watching this clip thinking is gonna save you

  45. 14309981 says:

    really good video thanks. 5/5 perfect.

  46. Pinhead222 says:

    I like the second rule of “wait and get what you really want” there’s no point wasting money on something you don’t even like.

  47. thereaper15999 says:
