everything works but the radio.
is the super thin long black cable that goes to nothing the antenna?
i think the model is a sx-315 somethin like that…

Yes, that is the antenna. It should have a small coupling on the end and that will fit into the small hole near the back corner of the unit. It will be labeled antenna. As for the radio issue, i’m not sure of that model, but you have to make sure that you choose the TUNER function for the radio to work. Once you push that button, you should see the present radio station on the LCD readout.
