Question by Vango: How do 2 subwoofers work in a home theater.?
Im thinking of getting a yamaha receiver that is 7.2 and i would like to know how the two subwoofer would work ? If i put one on the left and the other on the right, and for example im watching a movie and an explosion happens on the left will the left subwoofer would work or both of them would produce the same amount of bass? Sub woofer are none directional speakers. All it means on a 7.2 receiver is that you can connect two sub woofers for more bass. Sub woofers handle frequency normally at 80HZ and below, there is an adjustment on each sub woofer back for the frequency. Both will produce the bass.
