Get a Pioneer Elite receiver. I have used Pioneer Elite receiver and other related equipment for over 30 years. The SC-27 is the newest model below the SC-09. Go online to Home Theater magazine and read the review on the receiver (SC-07 is the same as SC-27 which is the 2009 model with some upgrade). Hope this will help you out.

Question by Chicago Blackhawks: Where could I find this Yamaha Home Theater Receiver?

I am looking for the same receiver from above but less then 9.99. Or any Yamaha receiver less then 9.99. I also want it to be a good Yamaha receiver but a better price then 9.99.

If I don’t find a better price then the one above and I decide to go with that one would I also need to buy speakers to go with it or can I use other stereo speakers that I have at home? I don’t want to have to buy more speakers if I don’t have to.

230 is really a rock bottom price for a home theater receiver, your not going to find it much cheaper I did find one place listed below that sells it for 7.76 the only thing your going to find cheaper than that with the same features is a Sony but sounds like you what Yamaha (personally I would stick with yamaha also) the Yamaha HTR6230 sells for 0 but its an older model with only 2 HDMI ports and less features……also linked below…

Hi guys this is just the start for my budget home theater. So far got two jamo horn styled bookshelf speakers and yamaha rx-v667 7.2 channel receiver. Have plans to build a 7.2 system slowly with comparatively small yet quality speakers. The setup is in my bed room. Got a 22″ HD monitor will upgrade later on. My little home theater, finally have the audio setup finished, now i,m just waiting on a custom 60″ diagonal screen and it will be all set. This setup consists of plok tsi400 floor speakers for my front l/r’s, ml vignette as a center channel, and polk owm3 and pwm125 for the surrounds and subwoofer, respectively.
