electric bill must be a bitch…
This is just pathetic
@bsod4u2 I don’t.
@ansonx10 I said you would hear nothing if you do not have the needed gear(subs) to tackle the job. And I am CORRECT.
Do you have a rotary sub or capable array of subs? If so what subs. I own four JL Audio f113’s, two Paradigm Signature 25 and twenty four sealed modules most with TC Sounds TC 5400/Ultra.
@bsod4u2 Oh you are wrong my friend. You can hear it if it is loud enough. If you have a rotary woofer then you can hear most of the subsonic frequencies.

@Slimchaddi I doubt not, they use arrays of what looks like 15 or 18″ drivers. Very easy to load a room in the ULF with arrays of large drivers and get solid SPL down to single digits. I have a sub consisting of 24 15 and 18″ drivers capable of higher output than this Goldmund setup. Using TC Sounds LMS5400/Ultra among others.
@ansonx10 And you would hear nothing, your electronics cannot reproduce it.
whats the music that plays at the beginning?
You have to point out that the high end audio market has become a market with huge price tags and less quality.
I stooped buying high end audio uipment in 1989 when Arnie Nudell left Infinity. I siatrted again in 2001 when Genesis was refounded, but when Arnie left Genesis on 2006 the high end audio market died for me.
I have heard a lot of equipment over $ 100 000, but none could convince me like those old Infinitys or Genesis loudspeakers.
that sucks.. for over-real.
I think this is exaggerated.
@cloudbook1994 they are ether part of the Illuminati or good con-artist or their family Is rich but I was hearing something on television the government Is catching them In their schemes because that Is all that sonic purity Is a schemes that stuff does Not cost to build as much as they claim.
@sct911 if their so stupid how did most of them get rich? (inheritance excluded)
what? Isnt 130 dB in the painful area? why would someone want that?
I made a full home theater (a really good one) for less then 10K this is a ripoff.
I still don’t understand why they make sterio subs. U can’t hear were the low frequencies are coming from. Higher frequ needs multiple channels.
have you guys heared of an 22.2 Surroundsystem? no? Search for Super Hi-Vision too! Thats the future of Cinema!
My car sub can play 5hz
i really doubt those 5 hz….
I agree with you 100%. If a person is speaking on-screen and you can’t talk to someone sitting next to you because of the volume level, it’s unnatural and not true home theatre in my opinion.
The whole idea is to reproduce the experience the director intended, not revise to some manic standard set by your ego and wallet.
@jlvsoundengineering Your system is terrible man. You use Bose speakers with Yamaha amps lol You need to spend you money wiser and buy quality peices. Find a local high end audio retailer and ask them to give you a demo. You will understand what you are missing out on.
I wish he had played a 5 hz tone. lol
I install home theaters .. and I Guarantee you can not enjoy a film that peaks at 130db..
REFERENCE levels are specified as an average of 85db and peak at no more than 105db. That is what I look to achieve with clarity and 95% of the time a customer will watch it much lower.
